Job summary

Beiersdorf in Madrid’s Tres Cantos region is seeking a Plant Automation Engineer to join the automation team, delivering ongoing improvements to automated systems on production lines.

You will troubleshoot and modify PLCs and HMIs, support commissioning, and provide robotics and vision-system assistance while collaborating with Production, Maintenance and Engineering to boost reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Industrial automation experience in manufacturing.
• Hands-on Siemens PLCs & TIA Portal.
• Knowledge of motion control and automated machinery.
• Experience in packaging or high-speed lines is valued.
• Exposure to robotics and machine vision systems.
• English: B2/C1 level.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot automation issues on production lines.

Your Tasks

You will join the Plant Automation Team, supporting production lines and contributing to the continuous improvement of automated systems.

• Troubleshooting and resolving automation issues on production lines.
• Implementing modifications and improvements in PLCs, HMIs and control systems.
• Supporting automation projects, commissioning activities and equipment optimization.
• Providing technical support for vision systems, robotics and industrial networks.
• Working closely with Production, Maintenance and Engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and performance.
• Maintaining accurate documentation, backups and automation standards.

Your Profile

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in industrial automation within manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs and TIA Portal.
• Knowledge of motion control and automated machinery.
• Experience in packaging or high-speed production lines is highly valued.
• Exposure to robotics and machine vision systems.
• English B2/C1
