GoodLife Foods in Granollers (Barcelona region) is seeking a Packaging Development Specialist to drive packaging development across NPD projects, collaborating with R&D, procurement, suppliers and production. You will translate briefs into packaging concepts, ensure functionality, sustainability, and regulatory compliance, and own projects with independence in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a degree in Packaging Science or related field, 5 years' FMCG packaging experience, travel

Formación

• Bachelor or Master degree in Packaging Science and Technology, Industrial Design Engineering, Food Processing or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in FMCG Packaging R&D, preferably in a food environment.
• Knowledge of common packaging materials and formats; fiber-based and flexible film tech is a plus.
• Experience with testing and qualification procedures across packaging formats.
• Willing to travel between company sites regularly.
• Strong drive and passion for packaging development.
• Experience in international, cross-functional teams and excellent English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Lead packaging development activities for new product launches inside the organization.
• Translate commercial briefs into technical packaging concepts.
• Evaluate, develop and qualify packaging concepts and materials with focus on functionality, sustainability and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and drive packaging optimizations, including cost improvements and production efficiencies.
• Lead packaging implementation projects across the Group with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with NPD, procurement, suppliers, and production teams.
• Lead industrial trials and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Document packaging specifications and hand over to Technical Office and Operations teams.
