GoodLife Foods group is seeking a Technical Office Technician to define and maintain packaging specifications, ensuring compliance with regulations and customer requirements. You will manage product information, labels, and packaging materials, supporting food safety and environmental standards.

You will collaborate with R&D, procurement, marketing, sales, and production teams to implement packaging solutions, review raw materials, and handle packaging incidents with corrective actions.

Formación

• Education in food science, biology, veterinary science, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in a Technical Office, Packaging, Regulatory Affairs, or similar role in food industry.
• Knowledge of food packaging regulations and labeling requirements.
• Strong documentation and compliance focus.

The role also ensures that packaging and product information meet legal, customer, and operational standards while supporting food safety and environmental compliance.# **Key Responsibilities*** Define, develop, and maintain the company's primary and secondary packaging to ensure compliance with applicable legislation and functional requirements.* Create, maintain, and update product specifications, technical data sheets, and customer technical specifications, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and current regulations.* Maintain packaging technical documentation and legal packaging information, including labels, markings, and other packaging elements, ensuring alignment with production, customer, and regulatory requirements.* Monitor and verify that food-contact packaging materials comply with all applicable food safety legislation.* Provide technical and regulatory support regarding ingredient declarations, raw material legal requirements, packaging compliance, and related regulatory matters.* Review and assess the technical documentation of raw materials to ensure legal compliance.* Investigate and manage packaging and labeling incidents, implementing corrective actions where necessary.* Update and maintain product information within the **AECOC** database.* Act as a **key contributor to Food Safety and Environmental Management**, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.# **Key Internal Relationships*** **Research, Development & Innovation (R&D&I):** + Collaborate on legal text development for new products. + Define packaging solutions for new product launches. + Coordinate formulation changes and assess their impact on packaging and labeling.* **Procurement Department:** + Manage legal documentation from raw material suppliers. + Coordinate the introduction of new packaging materials. + Resolve packaging-related supplier issues.* **Marketing Department:** + Collaborate on the development of packaging for private-label products. + Support the preparation of catalogs and promotional materials.* **Sales Management and Commercial Teams:** + Manage new product registrations. + Define packaging formats. + Propose alternative packaging solutions when appropriate. + Resolve customer inquiries and technical issues.* **Customer Service Department:** + Support the resolution of customer complaints related to packaging. + Respond to customer inquiries regarding product information.* **Production and Quality Teams:** + Coordinate plant trials for new packaging, improvements, and issue resolution.* **Logistics Department:** + Coordinate logistics trials for new packaging solutions and continuous improvement initiatives.# **Key External Relationships*** **Packaging Suppliers** + Coordinate packaging modifications, approvals, and new packaging developments.* **Raw Material Suppliers** + Request and clarify legal or technical documentation when required.* **Customers** + Provide technical support regarding product specifications and packaging information when necessary.# **Qualifications**### **Education**Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields:* Food Science and Technology* Biology* Veterinary Science* Food or Agricultural Engineering* Or a related discipline### **Experience*** Minimum **2 years of experience** in a **Technical Office**, **Packaging**, **Regulatory Affairs**, or a similar technical role within the food industry.# **Key Competencies*** Knowledge of food packaging regulations and food-contact legislation.* Understanding of food labeling and regulatory requirements.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.* Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.* Project coordination and organizational skills.* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.* Commitment to Food Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards.At GoodLife Foods we believe that great food brings people together and makes every moment more enjoyable.
