GoodLife Foods in Granollers (Barcelona) is seeking a Packaging Development Specialist to drive packaging design for new product launches. You will collaborate with R&D, procurement, suppliers, and production to translate briefs into viable packaging concepts and ensure functionality, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires at least 5 years in FMCG packaging R&D, a degree in Packaging Science and Technology or related fields, and strong English skills.

Formación

Bachelor or Master degree in Packaging Science and Technology, Industrial Design Engineering, Food Processing, or related disciplines.
Minimum of 5 years of FMCG packaging R&D experience, preferably in a food environment.
Knowledge of common packaging materials; fiber-based and flexible film knowledge a plus.
Understanding of testing and qualification procedures across packaging formats.
Willing to travel between company sites regularly.
Strong drive and passion for packaging development.
Excellent English communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsabilidades

Lead packaging development activities for new product launches across multiple NPD projects.
Translate commercial briefs into technical packaging concepts meeting functionality, sustainability and regulatory standards.
Evaluate, develop and qualify packaging concepts and materials.
Identify packaging optimizations for cost reductions, material changes and production efficiencies.
Lead packaging implementation projects with NPD, procurement, suppliers and production teams.
Document packaging specifications and hand over to Technical Office and Operations.
