Formación

  • 4+ years of experience in chemical facility design and maintenance.
  • Fluent in Spanish, English, and Catalan (B2 level).

Due to constant growth, we are looking for a Project Engineer Manager to join our team in Barcelona, Spain.

Responsibilities
  1. Designing of new projects: economic estimation, purchasing management and industrial contracting, creating plans and diagrams in CAD for new projects.
  2. Design and produce detailed technical drawings using CAD software and conduct economic study of the project: Analyze the financial viability and economic implications of the project.
  3. Plan and supervise the installation of industrial facilities: Supervise contractors and installers, manage the supply of necessary materials for new facilities, ensure that the required materials are procured and available for installation and ensure compliance with the planning.
  4. Perform the start-up of new facilities: Consult documentation and contact suppliers for testing, execute tests and start-up procedures and identify and list critical spare parts needed for ongoing operations.
  5. Design, assess, plan, and execute new projects: Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning through execution and evaluation.
  6. Manage the initiation and supervision of new facilities in the plant.
  7. Legalization of equipment: Promote legalization of equipment and installations where applicable, review legalization projects.
  8. Contact specialized companies and inspection/control companies approved by the administration: Coordinate with certified external companies for inspections and approvals.
  9. Qualification of facilities: Ensure all necessary documentation for the as-built condition of the facility is prepared and qualified, conduct qualification tests, carry out Technical Change Controls and manage any changes to the technical aspects of the project and ensure proper documentation and validation.
First Client's Project

Location: Celrá, Barcelona 100% onsite.
Duration of this first project: 6 months (We offer a permanent contract).

Requirements
  1. Degree: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (preferred in Chemistry).
  2. Experience: +4 years of experience in the design, installation, start-up and maintenance of facilities in the chemical industry or similar.
  3. English language: Fluent written and spoken Spanish, English and Catalan (at least B2 level).
  4. You are proficient in project management software and tools, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results.
