Position Summary

The Marbella Club is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to manage its Assouline store and embody the brand's spirit of cultural luxury and exceptional service.

Based in one of the world's most iconic resorts, you will be responsible for delivering a refined and personalized client experience, promoting Assouline's collection of luxury books and curated objects.

You will actively contribute to the boutique's daily operations, drive sales, manage inventory, and uphold the highest visual and service standards in alignment with both Assouline and Marbella Club values.

This is a unique opportunity to be an ambassador of a globally recognized luxury lifestyle brand within a prestigious hospitality setting.

Essential Responsibilities
  1. Drive personal and store sales results to reach goals daily and achieve monthly targets.
  2. Drive and build Assouline Customer database (monthly CRM goals and activations).
  3. Execute the Retail Activation Calendar including seasonal activations in collaboration with marketing team.
  4. Oversee store operations, including but not limited to maintaining stock, store merchandising and general housekeeping.
  5. Act as an Assouline Brand Ambassador by proactively representing the Brand in relevant local activities (events, book launches, PR activities).
  6. Maintain Visual Merchandising according to VM guidelines.
  7. Achieve monthly personal and store goals.
Job Requirements
  • Previous luxury retail experience a must.
  • Familiarity with HNWI customer base a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to drive sales results.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining a strong clientele base.
  • Consulting, Advising and Influencing skills.
  • Identify potential clients, establish contact, pitch client, create an account and complete the sale(s).
  • Consult in a collaborative way to help private, interior designer, and corporate clients complete orders.
  • Follow corporate guidelines on Visual Merchandising, price strategy, discount policy, etc.
  • Ensure high levels of customer service for all clients and their customers.
  • Manage client database to increase sales and client contact.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Previous experience in luxury sales (retail, corporate or wholesale).
  • Ability to communicate courteously and professionally with customers, co-workers, and business contacts.
  • Motivated, energetic, inquisitive, detail-oriented, and problem solver.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and climbing.
