Scopely is looking for an Outsource Associate Art Director to join our Monopoly Go! team in Sevilla on a hybrid basis.

Monopoly GO! is our new casual game and a key franchise that has become one of Scopely’s largest games enjoyed by millions. The team is based in Europe and the US, working daily to create captivating experiences for players.

What You Will Do

• Identify and evaluate potential outsourcing partners or freelance artists based on project needs and budget.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with art vendors and freelancers.
• Work with the AOS producer to negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with terms and deadlines.
• Manage art requests, timelines, art styles, and deliverables in collaboration with the art producer.
• Coordinate information flow between internal teams and external artists.
• Strategize with production to improve process pipelines.
• Manage a team of artists covering 2D, 3D, and Animation, and assist in team restructuring if needed.
• Set quality standards, review artworks, and provide constructive feedback to vendors to meet artistic vision.
• Plan and forecast outsourcing needs based on project phases and milestones.
• Facilitate communication between creative leads and external artists, organize review sessions, and serve as the primary contact for outsourcing inquiries.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in an art leadership role.
• Strong visual understanding of casual whimsical art styles.
• Proven experience in art production or outsource management.
• Familiarity with industry-standard software such as Photoshop, Maya, or other 3D software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Effective problem-solving skills related to art production and vendor relationships.

Bonus Points

• Experience working with intellectual properties (IP).
• Knowledge of working with Unity.
