The Limbach Group is the largest owner-managed laboratory group with more than 30 laboratory locations. The H&S laboratory software, used in over 100 hospitals, laboratory communities, and specialist laboratories, is developed at the Rüsselsheim site.

In addition, consulting for laboratories, e.g., for networking several laboratories, is a focus of the H&S branch.

Responsibilities :

1. Develop a laboratory information system together with the team.
2. Work in areas such as:

Order Entry (Order Creation) / Patient Management :

• Sample receipt, distribution, and dispatch.
• Recording of medical values.
• Interfaces to measuring devices, including quality control.
• Interfaces to third-party systems.
• Technical release and medical validation.
• Creation of findings.
• Maintain a focus on quality, testing, and documentation.
• Contribute to fulfilling regulatory requirements according to IVDR.
• Support projects to modernize the system.
• Port the software to Linux OS and PostgreSQL database.
• Migrate all customer systems to a common software version.
• Redevelop the laboratory information system modularly.

Extension of the Laboratory Information System :

• Extend the system with new features using Fortran.
• Serve as a system expert and support first and second level support.
• Solve complex issues in legacy environment.

Modular New Development :

• Support the complete new development of the system, ensuring requirements are met.
• Develop microservices using C# and/or Rust.
• Utilize PostgreSQL or NoSQL / NewSQL databases as needed.
• Participate in developing modules in a modern architecture following SOLID principles.
