SCOPE OF THE ROLE
Oracle Developer with strong experience in Data Warehouse development to support our end-to-end data pipeline—from staging through to the reporting layer. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SQL, PL / SQL, and Oracle database architecture, and will work closely with stakeholders to implement client-specific data transformation and reporting solutions. The role includes identifying and resolving data issues and ensuring the integrity and performance of the data warehouse environment
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop and maintain Oracle-based Data Warehouse solutions, including staging, transformation, and reporting layers. 2. Work closely with business analysts and clients to analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 3. Design and implement complex SQL and PL / SQL code for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. 4. Optimize queries and improve performance of stored procedures and database jobs. Perform bug fixing and issue resolution within the Oracle Data Warehouse environment. 5. Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy throughout the data pipeline. 6. Develop technical documentation and provide support during system testing and deployment. 7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including BI developers, QA testers, and project managers.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Thorough knowledge of JIRA, bug tracking and monitoring is MUST 2. Strong proficiency in SQL and PL / SQL programming. 3. Experience in working with large-scale datasets and complex data transformations. 4. Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (e.g., ETL, star / snowflake schema, data marts). 5. Experience with performance tuning and query optimization in Oracle. 6. Proven ability to analyze and debug data-related issues in production and non-production environments.
