Who we are looking for

We are looking for an optics simulation software engineer with a startup mindset to develop and optimize a proprietary optics simulation software platform. The main objective is to speed up and reduce the cost of the near-eye display design process through simulation.

What you will do

1. Develop optics simulation software in MATLAB and Python environments
2. Adapt and optimise GPU code for numerical simulation
3. Solve applied physics-oriented problems

What technical skills you have

1. Proficiency in large-scale matrix and vector operations, signal processing and vectorized computations in MATLAB and Python
2. GPU code optimization expertise for High Parallelized Computing
3. Basic understanding of concepts and equations of optics and light propagation
4. Familiarity with GPU Python libraries such as Cupy and Numba
5. Design of robust software architecture and version control implementation

What education you have

1. A PhD degree and 3+ years of industry experience in Applied physics / Computer Science with a focus on numerical simulations
2. Alternatively: a Master’s degree and 5+ years of industry experience
3. Professional working level of English
