Operations & Service Manager - Italy (Based in Spain) – Insurance Industry
Job Role: Italy BU Ops Manager/SM.
Region of Focus: Italy.
Description: We are looking for someone with strong communication skills who can understand business needs and prioritize topics effectively with the team. This role emphasizes management skills over technical knowledge, though familiarity with databases or Informatica Powercenter is appreciated.
This position requires on-call support for Italy from 18:00 to 22:00 on weekdays and from 09:00 to 12:00 on Saturdays. There is a monthly release on one Saturday a month, requiring on-call support until 18:00. A colleague from the Zurich side will assist with on-call duties, ensuring the new hire is not solely responsible for these tasks.
Approximately 60% of the time will be dedicated to Zurich BU Italy, while 40% will be spent as Service Manager for applications.
Location: Based in Spain, ideally Barcelona. This position is fully remote.
Languages & Levels: English (C2).
Minimum Experience: At least 7 to 10 years.
Mobility Outside Country: No.
