As an Operations Manager Inspection Spain, you will lead the Inspection Operations Group in Spain, based at our work center in San Sebastian de los Reyes (Madrid).

You will oversee a team of experienced professionals dedicated to completing inspection services using nondestructive examination techniques on metallic components of power generation plants.

You will develop or incorporate technical skills in various nondestructive testing methods, including ultrasound, eddy currents, visual inspection, and robotic equipment handling.

You will report to the Inspection Operations Senior Manager and be based in Madrid. This is a hybrid position.

Main Responsibilities :

1. Interact with Product and Engineering organizations to specify and define technology products required for inspection services.
2. Prepare technical and cost proposals for the services portfolio.
3. Plan service preparation, development, and implementation activities.
4. Set team objectives and lead daily operational tasks.
5. Occasionally lead field operations when required.
6. Ensure team members' qualifications and training are current and aligned with operational and specialty requirements.
7. Ensure policies, practices, and procedures are understood and followed by team members, customers, and stakeholders.
8. Track, report, and manage costs associated with services.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's degree in physics, chemistry, materials engineering, telecommunications, mechanics, electronics, or related technical fields.
2. Knowledge of ultrasonic and visual nondestructive testing methods.
3. Proficiency in spoken and written English (minimum B2; C1 is desirable).
4. Availability to travel nationally and internationally.
5. Knowledge of international standards such as ASME, ISO, ENIQ.
6. Qualification according to ISO 9712 in nondestructive testing methods.
