Ethypharm Group is looking for an Operations Finance Manager to oversee financial processes supporting supply chain operations. This hybrid role entails day-to-day management of budgeting, performance analysis, and inventory processes across various teams, targeting improvements in operational efficiency. The ideal candidate should possess a strong accounting background and a minimum of five years' experience in an operational finance role.

We are recruiting an Operations Finance Manager

Reporting to the UK Head of Supply Chain Finance, managing the role of the Finance Business Partner, and responsible for key financial processes, operational information and insight to drive Operational improvements. The main focus of the role is to provide Business Partner support to non-Financial leadership in the Group Ethypharm Supply Chain.

Day-to-day responsibilities

  • Support Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, and IT teams with budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis, and decision support (e.g., make vs. buy, contract evaluation, cost reduction initiatives)
  • Own UK inventory processes across internal and 3rd-party sites, including reconciliations, provision calculations, reporting, and audit support
  • Guide UK operations in forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning
  • Take leadof annual product costing update in SAP, ensuring accurate absorption of the annual variable budget into the product costs and resulting inventory valuation
  • Support Factory P&L setup, monitor production variances, analyze product costs and overheads, and drive efficiency improvements
  • Act as SAP Super User, lead system improvements, and support ERP integration
  • Provide costing models for new product launches, support commercial analysis, and report purchase price variances
  • Maintain robust financial processes and controls

Skills / Experience

  • Recognised accounting qualification, ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • 5 years post-qualified experience in a operational finance role in a dynamic production environment
  • Supplying key financial and commercial information to support business decision making e.g. modelling, financial appraisal techniques, scenario analysis, lifecycle analysis, contract review
  • Financial analysis and reporting
  • Risk management and compliance

Working hours information

  • Monday - Friday, 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm
  • This is a hybrid role and will be based at our Romford site
