DM Containers is a fast-growing shipping container trading and leasing company, headquartered in Barcelona. In just a few years, we’ve built a global operation and are now entering a major growth phase for 2024–2025. To keep scaling, we’re building a top-tier Sales and Operations team.

Your Role

As Operations Associate , you’ll be at the core of our day-to-day logistics. Your main focus will be maintaining stock accuracy and keeping all moving parts aligned—whether it’s with depots, clients, forwarders, or internal teams.

This is a great role for someone with 1–3 years of experience who’s organized, responsive, and ready to grow quickly within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Control : Maintain and update daily stock lists across multiple locations.

Daily Coordination : Liaise with depots, forwarders, clients, and partners to manage container handovers, pickups, and deliveries.

Logistics Monitoring : Track container movements (buying, selling, leasing) and ensure all key details - dates, quantities, container numbers, pricing - is accurate and updated.

Problem Solving : Flag and resolve day-to-day issues quickly - whether it's a pickup delay or depot miscommunication.

Documentation : Prepare container release forms and operational paperwork with attention to detail.

Team Support : Work closely with the China operations team and other internal teams to ensure smooth, 24 / 7 operations.

What You Bring

Experience

1 - 3 years in operations, logistics, or supply chain—ideally with exposure to shipping, freight, or trading.

Experience dealing with depots, transport companies, or stock systems is a big plus.

Highly organized and quick to respond—this role moves fast.

Detail-obsessed when it comes to stock accuracy and data updates.

Excellent communicator, especially over email and WhatsApp with external partners.

Fluent English is essential; other languages are a plus.

Confident using Excel / Google Sheets; CRM knowledge is helpful.
