About Us

DM Containers is a fast-growing shipping container trading and leasing company, headquartered in Barcelona. In just a few years, we’ve built a global operation and are now entering a major growth phase for 2024–2025. To keep scaling, we’re building a top-tier Sales and Operations team. If you’re sharp, hands-on, and eager to take ownership, this is your shot to grow in a high-impact role.

Your Role

Operations Associate, you’ll be at the core of our day-to-day logistics. Your main focus will be maintaining stock accuracy and keeping all moving parts aligned—whether it’s with depots, clients, forwarders, or internal teams. This is a great role for someone with 1–3 years of experience who’s organized, responsive, and ready to grow quickly within a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Stock Control: Maintain and update daily stock lists across multiple locations.
  2. Daily Coordination: Liaise with depots, forwarders, clients, and partners to manage container handovers, pickups, and deliveries.
  3. Logistics Monitoring: Track container movements (buying, selling, leasing) and ensure all key details—dates, quantities, container numbers, pricing—are accurate and updated.
  4. Problem Solving: Flag and resolve day-to-day issues quickly—whether it's a pickup delay or depot miscommunication.
  5. Documentation: Prepare container release forms and operational paperwork with attention to detail.
  6. Team Support: Work closely with the China operations team and other internal teams to ensure smooth, 24/7 operations.

What You Bring

Experience: 1–3 years in operations, logistics, or supply chain—ideally with exposure to shipping, freight, or trading. Experience dealing with depots, transport companies, or stock systems is a big plus.

Skills & Traits: Highly organized and quick to respond—this role moves fast. Detail-obsessed when it comes to stock accuracy and data updates. Excellent communicator, especially over email and WhatsApp with external partners. Fluent English is essential; other languages are a plus. Confident using Excel / Google Sheets; CRM knowledge is helpful.

What We Bring

  • Performance bonuses.
  • Growth Opportunities: Join us during our scale-up phase and grow with the company.
  • Perks: Business trips, team-building events, and a stylish central Barcelona office with a killer view.
