Nordex Group in Madrid seeks an Operational Planning Manager to align sales commitments, supply chain capabilities, production capacity, and project execution across the company’s global wind energy portfolio. You create transparency, assess risks and support decisions with data-driven analyses.

In the Global Planning Office you collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance and senior management to ensure reliable planning and sustainable growth.

Formación

• Strong analytical capabilities to understand and simplify complex processes
• Advanced IT affinity with VBA, SQL, and data-driven planning or reporting tools
• Experience in planning, supply chain, operations, or business analytics is desirable
• Ability to derive actionable recommendations from complex data and communicate across levels
• Structured, precise, solution-oriented mindset with continuous improvement focus
• Fluent English; German or Spanish is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Support global sales planning by developing delivery and execution concepts
• Coordinate supply chain planning with Tender Management, Production, Purchasing
• Develop and evaluate planning scenarios to optimize sourcing, capacities, and execution
• Create transparency on orders, inventory, capacities, and risks across value chain
• Design and improve planning tools and analytical solutions
• Prepare business cases and strategic recommendations for management
• Support master scheduling and pre-industrialization activities

As a Operational Planning Manager , you play a key role in aligning sales commitments, supply chain capabilities, production capacities, and project execution across Nordex’s global wind energy portfolio. You create transparency in complex planning environments, assess risks and opportunities, and support strategic decision-making through data-driven analyses and scenarios. Working within the Global Planning Office, you collaborate closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, Finance, and senior management to ensure reliable planning and sustainable business growth.

YOUR TASKS

• Support the global sales planning process by developing realistic delivery and execution concepts for future wind energy projects
• Coordinate supply chain planning activities with Tender Management, Production, Purchasing, and other key stakeholders
• Develop and evaluate planning scenarios to optimize sourcing assumptions, capacities, and project execution strategies
• Create transparency regarding order commitments, inventory levels, production capacities, and potential risks across the value chain
• Design, develop, and continuously improve planning tools and analytical solutions that increase process efficiency and decision quality
• Prepare business cases, analyses, and strategic recommendations for management and Board-level decision forums
• Support special projects and contribute to master scheduling, pre-industrialization activities, and pre-release governance processes

YOUR PROFILE

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Business Informatics, or a comparable field
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to understand and simplify complex business processes and planning dependencies
• Advanced IT affinity with strong skills in VBA, SQL, and data-driven planning or reporting tools
• Experience in planning, supply chain management, operations, project management, or business analytics is highly desirable
• Ability to derive actionable recommendations from complex data and communicate them effectively across different organizational levels
• Structured, precise, and solution-oriented working style with a strong continuous improvement mindset
• Fluent English skills; German and/or Spanish are considered a strong advantage
