Operations takes care of all production-related activities within the battery cell production. Our responsibilities include planning, constructing, and rolling out battery cell factories, as well as implementing operational functions such as logistics, quality, production, and plant management.

How You Will CELLebrate

As a Logistics Operational Officer, you will be responsible for securing inbound, in-house, and outbound logistics operations throughout the planning, construction, and series phases. You will support the design and implementation of operational logistics workflows in close collaboration with planning departments. Key responsibilities include managing inbound and outbound deliveries, material supply, and disposal processes within cell production facilities.

• Deploy and implement logistics processes, designing and supporting ramp-up and series production while maintaining quality and cleanliness standards.
• Oversee production supply chain operations, including goods receipt, inbound storage, repacking, material provision, waste management, and shipments.
• Ensure efficient supply chain operations for finished cells and packaging, coordinating deliveries to and from customers and suppliers.
• Manage special transport requests outside regular hours.
• Optimize resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment, and participate in budget planning and control.
• Act as the shopfloor representative for dangerous goods safety management.
• Ensure logistics operations comply with quality and safety regulations, promoting occupational safety.
• Train, supervise, and mentor team members, ensuring policy and standard compliance.
• Define work areas, assign tasks, and monitor adherence to guidelines.
• Promote health and well-being among team members and foster continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs to evaluate logistics performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Work on a 24 / 7 shift model aligned with factory schedules and shift strategies.

What You Need For Our CELLebration

• Strong expertise in logistics operations and technologies, including AGV and ASRS systems.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials management and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in SAP and related logistics systems.
• Leadership experience focusing on employee development and compliance.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with operational optimization aptitude.
• Degree or higher in Logistics, Supply Chain, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• German language skills are an asset.
• Fluency in English.
