The Skilled Operator supports and executes operational activities and processes in accordance with established specifications and guidelines related to quality, safety, and environment, to achieve production and operational targets for the assigned area.

The Skilled Operator is the basic level of operator, performing routine operational processes in production. They operate equipment and machinery requiring proficiency gained through on-the-job and specialized training.

Knowledge of materials, equipment, and tools is essential to perform tasks effectively, which requires time and experience to develop.

The role involves a significant amount of (semi) routine work, performed based on training, experience, and assistance from Multi-Skilled Operators, Supervisors, or Team Leaders when needed.

1. Execute operational activities such as discharging, loading, transporting, cleaning, labeling, and operating equipment to ensure safe, effective, and efficient production processes.

Maintenance & Repair tasks :

1. Inspect equipment periodically and perform minor maintenance tasks, reporting defects and deficiencies.
2. Conduct minor repairs when applicable and appropriate.

Reporting :

1. Log data and information on production orders and activities in logbooks or systems to maintain complete administration and insight into production status.
2. Report deviations and suggest improvements to supervisors to optimize processes, tools, and systems.

Safety & Compliance :

1. Work in compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations and standards.
2. Promote safety awareness, identify hazards, and take action in unsafe situations.
3. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, ensuring the area is free of hazards and well-maintained.
