Une entreprise leader dans le domaine de l'énergie recherche un spécialiste des opérations pour ses activités de trading à court terme. Le candidat idéal aura une formation en ingénierie industrielle et une expérience dans le marché électrique espagnol. Le poste nécessite des compétences techniques en programmation et une forte capacité analytique. Vous travaillerez au sein d'une équipe dynamique pour maximiser les revenus de portefeuille d'énergie et gérer les services auxiliaires sur le marché ibérique.

Formación

• 1-3 ans d'expérience professionnelle, de préférence sur le marché électrique espagnol.
• Maîtrise de l'anglais et de l'espagnol, connaissance du français appréciée.
• Capacité à travailler sous pression et en équipe.

Responsabilidades

• Exécution des opérations sur le marché électrique espagnol et soutien en temps réel aux producteurs renouvelables.
• Analyse et amélioration des opérations et des stratégies de marché.
• Participation à la gestion du centre de contrôle et à la balance énergétique.

The activities are organized in continuous 24 / 7 shifts in charge of Short Term Power Trading & dispatching.

Difficulties :

Operational risk, high concentration required on the job, and constant update of the regulations.

Relations :

• Internal : Origination department & TotalEnergies Gas & Power Trading in Spain and internal customers.
• External : OMIE, REE & Customers

Activities :

The mission of Short Term Power operations is to maximize the revenues and value of the power portfolio and intraday and ancillary services trading activities within controlled risk parameters in the Iberian market.

Responsibilities include executing operations in the Spanish Electricity Market (OMIE and REE) according to defined strategies, providing real-time assistance to renewable producers, customers (internal and external), and represented customers, participation in the regulation zone, and management of renewable assets from the Generation Control Center :

• Operate in the day ahead, intraday, and ancillary services markets : execute defined strategies, send market bids, execute bilateral contracts, send bids to ancillary services markets, analyze ST market information, optimize energy in different markets, monitor production in real-time, follow RRTT constraints, and manage discharge operations.
• Control the Generation Control Center, operate the Regulation zone, and balance energy of assets (generation, storage, and demand response).
• Provide real-time support to producer customers.
• Support represented customers in the market.
• Develop and propose new operation and bid strategies.
• Utilize market knowledge to maximize operations, providing a single point for markets and ancillary services covering real-time operational needs from customers (assets, renewable, supply, etc.).
• Rebalance portfolio in intraday and ancillary services markets.
• Conduct analysis activities, develop market research, and perform data analytics.
• Propose new strategies, services, and IT system improvements.
• Participate in commissioning the control center.
• Contribute to the development of operational procedures.
• Stay updated with legal regulations, market rules, REE operating procedures, and other applicable regulations.
• Follow and fulfill the established list of tasks / operations with rigor, organization, and professionalism.

Candidate Profile :

• Graduate or intermediate degree in industrial engineering in energy or industrial processes.
• 1-3 years of professional experience, preferably in the Spanish Electricity Market.
• Programming skills in Python, R, or VBA.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Valuable knowledge of French.
• Familiarity with OMIE & REE markets.
• Analytical and synthesis skills, process-oriented.
• Logical attitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work and deliver results in a team environment.
• Resistance to stress and ability to work under pressure.
• Proactive and adaptable.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a rotating system.
