Job summary

XPO Logistics in Hoznayo, Cantabria, Spain, seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead fleet and facilities maintenance, ensuring vehicle availability, operational safety and cost control. You will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance and manage the technical team and external suppliers to minimise downtime and maintain service continuity.

In this on-site role, you will work with Operations, Fleet and Procurement to plan workloads, monitor costs and enforce standards.

Qualifications

• Experience managing fleet maintenance for commercial/industrial vehicles.
• Knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.
• Experience coordinating technical teams and external suppliers.
• Strong planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
• Safety and cost-control focus required.
• On-site availability in Hoznayo, Spain.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of the fleet.
• Coordinate repairs, servicing, ITV inspections and other required checks.
• Manage the maintenance team, workloads, priorities and shifts.
• Monitor vehicle availability and reduce downtime.
• Coordinate workshops, suppliers, spare parts and external services.
• Monitor costs and ensure budget compliance.
• Analyze recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain up-to-date technical documentation and maintenance records.
• Ensure health, safety, quality, environmental and risk standards.
• Collaborate with Operations, Fleet, Procurement and other departments.
