Job summary

XPO is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Hoznayo, Spain to lead maintenance for our fleet and facilities, ensuring vehicle availability, safety, and cost control. You will coordinate a technical team and external suppliers, working with Operations to minimise downtime and maintain service continuity.

The role requires coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and budget adherence, while driving continuous improvement and world-class maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in Automotive Engineering or related field.
• Experience managing maintenance of commercial or industrial vehicle fleets.
• Knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, diagnostics and preventive maintenance.
• Experience coordinating technical teams and external suppliers.
• Strong planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
• Results-oriented with focus on safety and cost control.
• Availability to work on-site in Hoznayo.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance management of our fleet and facilities in Hoznayo, ensuring vehicle availability, operational safety and cost control.

This position will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, the technical team and external suppliers, working closely with Operations to minimise vehicle downtime and ensure service continuity.

What you’ll do on a typical day

• Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of the fleet.


• Coordinate repairs, servicing, mandatory vehicle inspections (ITV) and other required inspections.


• Manage the maintenance team, organising workloads, priorities and shifts.


• Monitor vehicle availability and reduce downtime.


• Coordinate workshops, suppliers, spare parts and external services.


• Monitor maintenance costs and ensure compliance with the agreed budget.


• Analyse recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.


• Keep technical documentation and maintenance records up to date.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality, environmental and risk prevention standards.


• Collaborate with Operations, Fleet, Procurement and other internal departments.

What you need to succeed at XPO
