El candidato ideal tiene un título en Bioquímica o Química y experiencia en desarrollo de procesos de oligonucleótidos. Formación

• Experiencia de 1-2 años en desarrollo de procesos de oligonucleótidos en un entorno farmacéutico.
• Conocimiento de síntesis y purificación de oligonucleótidos.
• Capacidad de trabajar de forma independiente y en equipo.

Responsabilidades

• Gestionar actividades de laboratorio relacionadas con el desarrollo de oligonucleótidos.
• Optimizar procesos de fabricación y asegurar el cumplimiento de estándares de calidad.
• Colaborar con otros departamentos para el apoyo del proceso de transferencia.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for an Oligos R&D Technician to initiate the oligos design and development project in Zaragoza.

The challenge!

Global Responsibility

Manage laboratory activities related to the development of oligonucleotides.

Oversee and execute laboratory activities for the development and optimization of oligonucleotide manufacturing processes. Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards and collaborate with other departments to support process transfer and continuous improvement.

Specific Responsibilities

• Ensure proficient operation of laboratory-scale chromatographic and other relevant equipment.
• Provide hands-on experience in process stages of oligonucleotide drug development to achieve product quality and process performance according to target objectives.
• Develop processes of oligonucleotide processes to meet regulatory requirements regarding product quality and process-related impurities.
• Optimize ion exchange and size exclusion chromatography, as well as tangential flow filtration process.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of oligonucleotide drugs and related technologies.
• Apply DOE (Design of Experiments) and QbD (Quality by Design) principles in process development.
• Maintain and elaborate Standards Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support continuous process improvements throughout the development process.

What do you need?

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field. PhD is a plus
• Languages: Fluent Spanish and English, knowledge of other languages will be an asset.
• Experience (years/area): 1-2 years of Experience in oligonucleotide process development in a pharmaceutical environment.
• Specific Knowledge: Knowledge of oligonucleotide synthesis and purification processes.
• Travels: Occasional. The selected person will start his/her stage in Zaragoza where we start the testing projects. Subsequently, he/she will have to travel to the location where our manufacturing plant will be set up.
• Personal skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, ability to work independently and as part of a team, high self-motivation and results orientation.

Flexible entry timetable from Monday to Friday (full time 40 hours).
