Job summary

AECOM Madrid is recruiting an OLE/OCS Technical Specialist for our Madrid Enterprise Capabilities Offices. The role offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement (in-office and remote) with international project exposure in a multidisciplinary Railway Systems team.

The successful candidate will handle OLE/OCS design activities for international railway projects, lead design teams across borders, and contribute to high-impact infrastructure projects worldwide.

Qualifications

10–20 years of experience in OLE/OCS projects within railways.
Proficiency in CAD tools: MicroStation and AutoCAD.
Desirable knowledge of structural assessment software and BIM.
Ability to lead remote teams across different countries.
Fluent English; other languages welcome.
Proactive, collaborative spirit with a readiness for new challenges.

Responsibilities

Develop technical reports, drawings, layouts, and loading cases.
Produce structural steelwork drawings and wiring/bonding plans.
Perform mechanical and geometric calculations for OLE systems.
Work independently with new OLE design ranges.
Develop technical specifications.
Coordinate interfaces with systems and stakeholders.
Attend interdisciplinary reviews and ensure quality control.
Supervise team work and act as interface manager.
