AECOM in Madrid is seeking a Principal Engineer with bridges and/or structures design experience to join the Enterprise Capabilities, Europe team.

You will lead a multidisciplinary, international design effort on iconic transportation projects, mentoring staff and coordinating with offices in Spain, Poland, India, and beyond.

This role offers hybrid work, career development, and exposure to BIM, automation, and advanced design tools as part of a diverse global group.

Formación

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Spanish is a plus.
• Experience with international codes/regulations (AASTHO; AREMA; Aus-Codes; BS, etc.).
• Proficiency with bridge/structure calculation software (Midas Civil preferred).
• Experience working with international teams is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as lead engineer for bridge/structure projects on mid-size programs.
• Coordinate resources across EC offices in Spain, Poland, India, etc.
• Provide technical studies, value engineering and alternative designs.
• Develop execution plans and delivery strategies with internal clients.
• Perform quality control reviews and approve engineering work.
• Mentor and evaluate less experienced staff within Europe GDC.
• Deliver clear communication with internal clients and team members.
