GE Vernova is seeking a Service Technical Support Engineer to lead technical preparation of offshore wind service activities. You will act as the first contact for service operations leadership and teams, ensuring timely, accurate interventions and continuous improvement.

In this role you will troubleshoot turbine issues remotely and onsite, create and manage technical cases, and collaborate with design teams to develop robust troubleshooting guides while driving digitalization and safety

Formación

Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering with offshore wind experience.
Proven wind turbine operation and troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of wind turbine electrical, mechanical, controls, and networks.
Experience with continuous improvement in service operations.
Fluent in English.

Responsabilidades

Provide first-level remote and occasional onsite technical troubleshooting for turbine issues.
Create and manage technical cases, work orders, and NCs.
Support Work Orders readiness and assist purchasing with tooling and spares.
Coordinate daily planning calls with offshore vessels.
Collaborate with design and support teams to develop troubleshooting guides.
Lead improvements affecting controller, HMI, or SCADA functions.
Drive process improvements focusing on digitalization, data analytics, and EHS.
Analyze data for operational safety and quality improvements.
Support Service Leadership in customer meetings and service projects.
