GE Vernova is recruiting a Lead Repair Engineer to develop repair procedures and tooling for Major Component Upgrades and Uptower Repairs on wind turbines. The role focuses on documentation (70%) and testing/validation (30%), collaborating with Repair Technology, Deployment Leaders, and cross-functional teams to ensure safe, effective repairs.

Responsibilities include creating and maintaining project plans, validating procedures, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards through reviews

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and validate repair procedures meeting customer and business requirements.
• Prove out safety and functionality of repair procedures.
• Lead engineering efforts in initial validation and beta period of tooling and processes with cross-functional teams.
• Create and maintain project plans.
• Develop, test and validate repair/replacement procedures through models, prototypes, and components.
• Identify requirements for process-specific tooling and ensure safe installation and operation.
• Own the design of innovative repair solutions adhering to engineering standards.
• Follow and document repair procedures using eDRB, PLM, FMEAs, WDIs, Handoff Packages, etc.
