A global offshore services company is seeking a Pipeline Technology Equipment Technician for various international locations. You will ensure the operational status of pipeline equipment, focusing on safety and quality standards. The role requires 2-5 years of experience and proficiency in troubleshooting, electrical systems, and basic computer skills. The position offers a permanent contract with a rotational work schedule of 35 days on and off.

Formación

Job Title: Offshore Vessels - Pipeline Technology Equipment Technician

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Spain, UK, or Senegal - Offshore Vessels in various worldwide locations

Languages: English (Advanced 80%-100%) / English (Intermediate 50%-80%)

Contract Terms: As soon as possible

Work / Leave Rotation: 35 / 35 days (paid/unpaid)

Work Hours: 12 hours/day, 7 days/week

Mission:

Ensure the operational status of pipeline main line equipment during project phases and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements & Responsibilities:
  • Basic knowledge of reading electrical/mechanical drawings
  • Skills in troubleshooting and problem solving
  • Experience with welding equipment and technologies
  • Knowledge in electrical and electrotechnical fields
  • Ability to process commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Intermediate English proficiency (B1)
  • Proficiency in MS Office and basic computer skills
Tasks:
  • Perform activities related to pipeline equipment, ensuring QA/QC and HSE compliance
  • Perform electrical/mechanical works safely and according to standards
  • Make electrical connections and read technical schematics
  • Verify equipment safety and operational condition
  • Report anomalies and store spare parts properly
  • Test electrical systems and ensure safety
  • Coordinate safely during operations
  • Maintain and repair equipment, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
  • Follow permit to work procedures and maintain documentation
  • Participate in upgrades and continuous monitoring
  • Adhere to all safety policies and preserve equipment during stand-by periods
