CONTRACTUAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS :
Location : Spain, UK, or Senegal - Offshore Vessels in several worldwide locations
Contract Start : As soon as possible.
Insurance : Death & Disability + Life Insurance, Medical Insurance and Income protection provided by the company.
Work / leave rotation : 35 / 35 (35 paid working days followed by 35 unpaid leave days).
Work hours : 12 hours / day - 7 days / week
MISSION :
- Ensure the working status of the pipeline main line equipment during project execution and during project preparation, installation and start up.
- Ensure compliance with safety / quality procedures / standards.
Requirements and Main Responsibilities :
- Basic knowledge in reading electrical / mechanical drawings.
- Basic skills in problem solving / troubleshooting.
- Experience with welding equipment and technologies (welding generators, automatic welding processes, plasma welding, induction heating).
- Knowledge in electrical and electrotechnical field.
- Able to process commissioning of electrical and instrumentation.
- 2 – 5 years of experience.
- Intermediate English level spoken and written is mandatory - B1.
- Minimum MS Office / computer knowledge.
TASKS :
- Execute activities within own area of responsibility on all Pipeline technologies Equipment, ensuring compliance with QA / QC and HSE requirements.
- Perform electrical / mechanical works in accordance with safety and quality requirements.
- Perform electrical connections for equipment, circuit breakers, transformers, cabinets, and other electrical apparatus.
- Read technical drawings schematics (line diagram, electrical scheme, basic hydraulic diagrams) to ensure correct installation and connection.
- Verify equipment and materials are in good and safe operating condition; report anomalies to pipeline technologies engineer. Store spare parts properly and verify their compatibility.
- Test electrical systems and circuit continuity using testing devices (Multimeters, meggers, oscilloscopes) to ensure system safety and integrity.
- Coordinate safely during operations, especially during simultaneous activities.
- Maintain and repair pipeline technologies equipment regularly.
- Install and connect electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment as per scope provided by the Pipeline technologies engineer.
- Perform mechanical and electrical repairs independently where possible.
- Carry out refurbishment operations as needed.
- Follow permit to work procedures.
- Ensure maintenance is performed as scheduled and properly documented.
- Implement modifications as planned and report them accordingly.
- Participate in continuous monitoring and suggest upgrades to improve equipment efficiency, safety, and functionality.
- Adhere to all HSE policies and standards, ensuring compliance and safety.
- Preserve equipment during long stand-by periods to ensure readiness.
- Follow internal procedures and regulations diligently.
