A leading tech company is seeking an OCP Networking Architect to join their internal team in Barcelona. You will design and develop data center solutions based on Open Compute Project standards. The ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience in related areas, strong knowledge of OCP standards, and the ability to lead complex technical projects. • 8+ years of experience in OCP architecture, data center infrastructure, or related areas.
• Deep knowledge of Open Compute Project standards and reference designs.
• Solid understanding of power distribution, thermal design, and mechanical integration.
• Hands-on mindset and strong technical ownership.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English (C1 or above).

? Your Mission

As an OCP Networking Architect, you will lead the design and development of rack and data center solutions based on Open Compute Project (OCP) standards. You’ll work closely with engineering, infrastructure, and product stakeholders to deliver modular, scalable systems that support demanding AI and HPC workloads.

? Key Responsibilities

• Architect and define end-to-end OCP-based rack and data center systems
• Collaborate with PCB engineers and hardware/system architects
• Translate complex technical requirements into scalable infrastructure designs
• Lead thermal, power, and mechanical design studies
• Manage PCB BoMs and source component alternatives as needed
• Ensure signal integrity and compliance with high-speed communication standards
• Support AI hardware/firmware integration needs
• Provide technical leadership across multi-disciplinary teams

What You Bring

• 8+ years of experience in OCP architecture, data center infrastructure, or related areas
• Deep knowledge of Open Compute Project standards and reference designs
• Solid understanding of power distribution, thermal design, and mechanical integration
• Familiarity with AI-focused hardware and scal
• Experience with BoM ownership and sourcing strategy
• Hands-on mindset and strong technical ownership
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English (C1 or above)
• Degree in a relevant technical field (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD)
