Splunk Engineer Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining and coaching on observability tools, including Splunk and ITSI.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Building and maintaining dashboards and ensuring data quality and user adoption.
  • Creating applications and planning deployments in production.
  • Actively discussing and implementing new features based on business needs.
  • Performing Splunk admin tasks and coaching colleagues.
  • Integrating solutions into wider enterprise infrastructure.
  • Being a technical ambassador and mentor within the team.

Required skills and qualifications include :

  • 3+ years of hands-on Splunk experience, including Splunk ITSI.
  • Strong experience with Python, infrastructure, AWS and Azure.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript; Java is a plus.
  • Experience with observability tools, user coaching and integration projects.
  • Able to take ownership of deliverables and lead from the front.
  • Splunk Core Certified Power User or Advanced Power User certification.
