Itproposal seeks a Nutanix Engineer / Networking IT Support Engineer for on-call freelance work to support enterprise infrastructure. You will deploy Nutanix HCI environments, perform upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and implement DR solutions across regional teams.

The role requires flexibility for on-call coverage across time zones, with strong networking fundamentals and scripting capabilities. Prior Nutanix certifications and cloud familiarity are highly valued.

Formación

• 5+ years in infrastructure or virtualization engineering.
• Strong experience with Nutanix stack.
• Knowledge of VMware or Hyper-V.
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with DR and backup tools.
• Scripting (PowerShell/Python) is advantageous.

Role Overview

We are hiring a Nutanix Engineer/ Networking IT Support Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure environments. This role requires flexibility for on-call support and the ability to work across regional time zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Nutanix HCI environments (AOS, AHV, Prism)

• Perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues

• Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions

• Provide on-call incident response support

• Work with global teams on cloud and infrastructure projects

• Maintain system documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in infrastructure or virtualization engineering

• Strong experience with Nutanix stack

• Knowledge of VMware or Hyper-V
