ITproposal is seeking a Nutanix Engineer/Networking IT Support Engineer for Canary Islands on a freelance, on-call basis. You will support enterprise infrastructure, handle Nutanix HCI environments (AOS, AHV, Prism), and coordinate across regional time zones.

The role requires strong virtualization and networking skills, experience with Nutanix stack, VMware/Hyper-V, and DR/backups. On-call incidents, documentation, and collaboration with global teams are essential to success.

Formación

• 5+ years in infrastructure or virtualization engineering.
• Strong experience with Nutanix stack.
• Knowledge of VMware or Hyper-V.
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with DR and backup tools.
• Scripting (PowerShell/Python) is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

Role Overview

We are hiring a Nutanix Engineer/ Networking IT Support Engineer to support enterprise infrastructure environments. This role requires flexibility for on-call support and the ability to work across regional time zones.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage Nutanix HCI environments (AOS, AHV, Prism)
• Perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues
• Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Provide on-call incident response support
• Work with global teams on cloud and infrastructure projects
• Maintain system documentation

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years in infrastructure or virtualization engineering
• Strong experience with Nutanix stack
• Knowledge of VMware or Hyper-V

Preferred Qualifications

• Nutanix Certification (NCP or higher)
• CCNA
