Offer Description

Degree in Nursing for the Clinical Trials Unit of IIS Biobizkaia.

• Knowledge and implementation of basic and complex nursing practice techniques.
• Knowledge and implementation of the protocol for the clinical trial in which the nurse participates and receive training on it, either through the sponsor or the principal investigator, using the protocol and/or necessary support materials.
• Collection of anthropometric data, vital signs, and electrocardiograms.
• Administration of research medication.
• Other tests/tasks that, according to the study protocol, must be performed by research nursing staff according to current rates.
• Control and follow-up of the schedules of patients participating in the study.
• Preparation of patient visits in advance of the study.
• Administration of study surveys or questionnaires.
• Recording of study data associated with research nursing activities in the patient's medical record (referred to as source data).
• Maintenance of the principal investigator's file and documentation of participants related to nursing tasks.
• Obtaining informed consent (if applicable).
• Monitoring, inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining routinely used equipment and nursing work areas.
• Managing nursing supplies and warehouse stocks. Reviewing inventory and placing orders.
• Management of central sample kit stocks and preparation of these kits for each patient visit.
• Preparation of corresponding budgets for each study related to the requested nursing support.
• Implementation of Standard Operating Procedures related to their duties.

Contract: Indefinite for scientific-technical activities under Royal Decree-Law 8/2022, of April 5.

Work day: Full time.

Gross annual salary: 33,044 euros gross per year.

Workplace: Biobizkaia Health Research Institute.

Eligibility criteria

• Training in Good Clinical Practice (0-30).
• Experience in Clinical Trials (0-30).
• Experience in a Healthcare Center (0-20).
• Experience managing databases and office software (0-10).
• B2 English level or 6-month stay in an English-speaking country (0-5).
• Disability certificate of at least 33% (0-5).
