Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to deliver engineering services focused on waste treatment, licensing studies, and decommissioning projects. The role is based in Madrid with a hybrid work schedule, reporting to the Waste Characterization and Disposal Manager.

You will lead calculations, safety plans, and supplier coordination while supporting international teams and client requirements. Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, industrial engineering, or equivalent.
• Master's in Occupational Risk Prevention is valuable.
• 5+ years of experience in project and construction management within nuclear facilities.
• Experience in construction management or site management.
• Fluency in Spanish with perfect speaking and writing.
• Fluent in English with reporting skills.
• Willingness to travel.
• Drive license.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare engineering documents (calculations, construction project plans, licensing documents, procurement specs).
• Develop health and safety plans for civil or system projects.
• Develop system requirements for waste management and support process optimization.
• Participate in proposal preparation (descriptions, effort calculations, client requirements).
• Attend meetings with suppliers at pre-design, spec development, and fabrication stages.
• Manage assembly and testing of design modifications.
• Support the customer site to resolve waste treatment system problems.
• Evaluate and follow up on supplier documentation for approval.
• Participate in international teams.
