Job Description

Our client is a leading innovative network intelligence and security solutions company for service providers worldwide. Their solutions are deployed globally for network and application analytics, traffic control and shaping, network-based security services by over mobile, fixed, and cloud service providers and enterprises.

What we’re looking for:
The Professional Services Engineer plays a crucial role in the company's success. Reporting to the Regional Delivery Manager, they will work closely with customers, peers, Product Management, Pre-sales, solution architecture, and R&D.

What you’ll do:
- Deploy products at customer sites
- Execute proof of concepts, trials, and demos
- Deliver on-site technical training to partners and customers
- Perform installations, upgrades, and Interoperability Testing (IoT)
- Create technical documents such as ATP (Acceptance Test Plan) and MOPs (Method of Procedure)
- Stage systems in the lab to verify functionality
- Serve as a technical leader in front of customers and partners

What you should have:
- Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent engineering field
- 3+ years as a Professional Services Engineer in telecommunications or network security
- Expert in Linux administration and hands-on experience
- Configuration and troubleshooting skills for Routers and Switches
- Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, KVM, OpenStack)
- Strong technical skills in telecommunications and TCP/IP
- Experience with Servers from HP, Lenovo, or Dell
- Excellent troubleshooting capabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Service-oriented and self-learner
- Ability to work non-regular hours

Advantages:
- CCNA certification
- Knowledge of GSM, LTE, and 3GPP cellular networks
- Experience supporting CSPs
- Scripting skills (Bash, Perl)
- Network design experience
- Familiarity with SQL, DBMS, storage solutions, and network authentication protocols
- Knowledge of network security, management tools, and NFV

Travel:
Up to 40% travel expected
