Job Description:

Role Purpose: Working in the Unified Communications and Connectivity (UCC) Product Practice, you will be responsible for the ‘UCC Platform’ Strategy & Architecture that delivers resource orchestration, resource assurance, and automation of Vodafone Group UC, CPAAS, SDN, and NFV products through integration with Vodafone Business IT (VBIT) platforms and Technology Management Systems. This is a critical Vodafone Group role, where, through your leadership, you will be responsible for developments over the next 12-18 months to deliver: Digital CXX; Automation; and foundations for Intent Based Network. You will work with vendors and internal Vodafone stakeholders to determine options and business benefits, fulfilling the (Agile) System Architect role, prioritizing the product backlog, and fostering effective collaboration and communication of complex issues and their business impact.

Responsibilities:

• Define UCC Product Practice OSS & Automation Strategy aligned with Vodafone Business IT and stakeholders to deliver the product roadmap.
• Work with operational stakeholders to detail the business benefits of UCC OSS and automation capabilities, considering impacts on operating models.
• As the (Agile) System Architect, define and communicate a shared technical and architectural vision for an Agile Release Train (ART), ensuring the system is fit for purpose, robust, secure, and scalable.

What you bring:

• University degree in electrical/electronic/telecommunications engineering or similar.
• Experience designing, implementing, and rolling out telecom services in an international/global environment.
• Knowledge of resource management Platforms (Orchestration, Assurance, Inventory, reporting) for automation.
• Experience with automation and resource management Platforms, including: Ciena, Netcracker, Ericsson, ELK, syslog-ng, Prometheus, Grafana, Neo4j, Camunda, Ansible, ONAP, Kafka.
• Proficiency with key API protocols: Netconf, REST, TMF.
• Experience with orchestration scripting languages: TOSCA, HEAT.
• Integration experience with domain controllers for UC and SD-WAN products as VNF’s on uCPE and Public Cloud.
• Knowledge of Cloud Computing and Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proven leadership in delivering complex IT solutions.
• Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, managing ambiguity, and resolving conflicts.
• Familiarity with Software Development processes and lifecycle (CI/CD).
• Experience with Agile/SAFE delivery methodologies.
