A New Product Launch Officer will be responsible for managing their own portfolio, analyzing each project, and ensuring delivery as per agreed terms, timelines, and signed contracts.

The NPL Officer shall oversee the entire purchase order process from placement to delivery, providing necessary approvals and requirements to relevant teams. A thorough understanding of registration procedures is essential to define optimal launch strategies and align with customer terms and conditions.

Job Role and Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage portfolio within the agreed budget, analyze product/customer-specific data, and monitor project statuses and requirements in a timely manner.
  2. Handle end-to-end order processing, including order entry, acknowledgment, communication with the plant, and providing all necessary requirements.
  3. Ensure correct setup of products and customers in the system according to signed contracts and agreements.
  4. Coordinate planning and manufacturing to ensure timely delivery, including collaboration with EU sites for secondary packaging, testing, release, and import procedures.
  5. Keep customers informed about project status and update local systems accordingly.
  6. Prepare sales, project status, and regional reports monthly.
  7. Conduct weekly updates between the commercial office and manufacturing plants.
  8. Consolidate demands and timelines, and ensure system alignment between the commercial office and the plant.
  9. Participate in operational meetings and provide regular project updates to internal departments and external stakeholders such as customers, CMOs, and EU Labs.
  10. Coordinate pending activities across departments to meet delivery goals.
  11. Address customer complaints by acknowledgment and follow-up.
  12. Monitor forecasts for changes and assess their impact on supply chain activities.
  13. Assist in implementing new or improved supply chain processes.

Person Specification

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in supply chain or customer service, preferably in the pharma sector.
  • Experience in project management is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in MS Office and basic SAP skills.
