This role involves diagnosing and managing patients with neurological diseases, and offers the opportunity to engage in academic activities with residents and fellows. The successful candidate will contribute to innovative clinical research and participate in comprehensive patient care.

Formación

Right now we are looking for a :

As a Neurologist at HRH, you will use your strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating a wide spectrum of patients with neurologic disease. Humber’s affiliation with the University of Toronto and Queen’s University offers the opportunity to be a part of a vibrant academic community, occasionally working with residents, fellows, and medical students, while contributing to innovative clinical research projects.

The successful candidate would be expected to :

  • Provide outpatient and inpatient consultations for patients with Neurologic conditions.
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with complex neurological conditions.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as lumbar punctures, electroencephalograms (EEGs), electromyography (EMG), and nerve conduction studies (NCS).
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Participate in on-call rotations for neurological emergencies.

In addition to demonstrated leadership skills and clinical excellence, you require relevant certification from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada and are a member of, or are eligible for membership with, the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario.
