Neotalent Conclusion is seeking a Network Upgrade Specialist – NCE & MAE in Madrid to join a leading telecom client. You will perform remote Huawei upgrades from centralized management, deploy software patches, and validate changes in Huawei NCE/MAE environments.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in Telecommunications, Information Systems, or Electronics.
• Experience upgrading telecom equipment or platforms.
• Knowledge of Huawei equipment and technologies.
• Experience with Huawei NCE and MAE.
• Willing to work maintenance windows, including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, execute and validate remote upgrades of Huawei equipment and platforms from centralized management environments.
• Perform software upgrades, patch deployments and version updates following established technical procedures.
• Execute testing and validation activities on Huawei NCE and MAE platforms, including support and validation in lab/mock-up environments.
• Monitor and verify the successful implementation of changes, ensuring service continuity.
• Analyze and resolve incidents arising during maintenance windows and upgrade activities.
• Apply rollback procedures whenever necessary to minimize service impact.
• Perform troubleshooting activities within Huawei management platforms and operational tools.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure the successful evolution of the network.
• Produce technical documentation and intervention reports.

What will your responsibilities be?

What profile are we looking for?

• Technical degree in Telecommunications, Information Systems, Electronics or a related field.
• Experience performing upgrades on telecommunications equipment or platforms.
• Practical knowledge of Huawei equipment and technologies.
• Experience working with Huawei NCE and MAE platforms.
• Experience carrying out remote interventions through management servers or network management systems.
• Knowledge of mobile networks and network architecture.
• Ability to follow technical procedures, validate results and execute rollback plans.
• Experience in incident analysis and resolution during change or upgrade activities.
• Experience in troubleshooting technical issues within management tools.
• Availability to work during maintenance windows, including occasional nights and weekends.
• Technical English level sufficient to understand documentation and operational procedures.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Huawei software versions, patches and upgrade processes in telecommunications networks.
• Knowledge of Huawei network management and operation tools, particularly NCE and MAE.
• Experience within telecom operators or production network environments.
• Huawei technical certifications.
