A leading company in Madrid is looking for a Network Engineer to maintain and secure their network platform. The role involves monitoring incidents and developing automated solutions. Candidates should possess strong IT security knowledge, firewall administration experience and proficiency in scripting.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of IT Security and Network infrastructure.
• Experience in administration of firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers.
• Competent in Python and other coding or scripting languages.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain security platform, monitor incidents, and resolve requests.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on user stories evaluations.
• Develop automated solutions to enhance internal processes.

Key Responsibilities / Functional Skills :

• Network & Security platform maintenance, monitoring, incidents resolution, requests and change management tasks.
• Work with the rest Senior Infrastructure engineers to evaluate user stories.
• Maintain infrastructure and software supporting internal tools.
• Develop automated solutions for enhance internal processes.
• Provide on duty support as needed for incident resolution.

Must-Have :

• Strong knowledge of IT Security and Network infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience in administration of firewalls (valuable Fortinet & PaloAlto).
• Demonstrated experience in administration of routers & switches (valuable Cisco & Aruba).
• Demonstrated experience in administration of load balancers (valuable F5).
• Demonstrated experience in administration of wireless solutions (valuable Cisco & Aruba).
• Knowledge in CyberArk platform is a plus.
• Competent in scripting / API and development skills in Python and / or any other modern coding or scripting languages to automate tasks.

Working hours

Office shift. Flexible, starts from 8 : 00 a.m to 10 : 00 a.m. and exit from 17 : 00 to 19 : 00 with 1 lunch hour. + On call
