Formación

• 5+ years of experience in network security with architecture experience.
• Palo Alto and Cloud Certifications are advantageous.

Job Description:

Job Purpose

The Network Security Architect plans, implements and provides support for network security for our network infrastructure related to our world-wide locations.
The role requires to take initiative and ownership, while demonstrating good teamworking skills and resilience in an agile and international work environment.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Participate in the planning, implementation, and continuous operation of the network security infrastructure for DC and subsidiaries of the Straumann Group worldwide.
2. Participate in the planning, implementation, and continuous operation of the Multi-Clouds’ Security Infrastructure.
3. Configuration and troubleshooting of the network security firewalls (Palo Alto).
4. Configuration and troubleshooting of the remote VPN access.
5. Administration and continuous operation of the Cisco Identity Services Engine.
6. Administration and continuous operation of the Cisco Umbrella infrastructure.
7. Act as a project team member or take project ownership for various IT Security projects.
8. Conduct on-site rollout activities in international operations, or coordinate vendors from remote, including coordination with providers.
9. Maintenance of the system documentation, such as Visio network diagrams.
10. Ticket handling (incidents, service and change requests).

Requirements needed

Education

1. Educational background in technical computer science, FH / HF degree beneficial.

Experience

1. Palo Alto Certification is an advantage.
2. Cloud Certifications (AWS or Azure) is an advantage.
3. At least 5 years of experience in network security.
4. At least 3 years of architecture experience in network security.
5. You have extensive experience and are efficient in troubleshooting.
6. Good networking skills required in Switching & Routing.
7. Good service management skills.
8. Experience with OT Security is an advantage.
9. Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine.
10. Experience with NFV (virtualization of Network Security components) is an advantage.
11. Strong Experience with AAA methods (Radius, Tacacs+, 802.1x, EAP-TLS, IPSK, Captive portal,…).
12. Very good knowledge of written and spoken English, German is an advantage.
13. You are known for your independent and highly customer-oriented way of working, for your initiative and as a dedicated team player.
14. You have passion for learning and take ownership for continuous learning.
