Network Engineer

Location : Fully remote position based in Spain

What You'll Be Doing

As part of the Network Engineering team, you will improve the stability, resilience and scale of their services by automation, testing and engineering.

To consistently deliver value to the customers, you will ensure that :

• Technical solutions are aligned across teams
• Monitoring, logging and alerting facilities are in place.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize network solutions to enhance performance and reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, ensuring minimal downtime
• Work with firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection tools to strengthen security
• Implement best practices for monitoring, logging, and alerting to maintain system stability
• Collaborate with cloud teams (AWS, Azure, GCP) to improve networking in cloud environments
• Automate network tasks and boost efficiency using tools like Ansible & Python
• Contribute to network architecture decisions, focusing on scalability and security
• Stay updated with emerging networking technologies to drive continuous improvements
• Work in an agile environment, balancing multiple priorities effectively

What We Look For in You

Technical Skills

• Expertise in routing, switching, and load balancing
• Knowledge of network protocols (TCP / IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.)
• Ability to troubleshoot performance issues and network failures
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and security best practices
• Hands-on experience with network automation (Ansible, Python)
• Familiarity with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of monitoring, metrics, and alerting systems
