Network and Systems Administrator - Gamma Spain

Responsibilities

• System configuration and design: design and configure systems that are efficient, secure, and scalable. This requires a high level of independence and experience to ensure performance and security of the platform.
• Deputy Technical Operations Chief Officer: direct manager responsible for planning and executing the company’s operations, with frequent contact for reporting progress, receiving instructions, requesting support or resources, and resolving technical queries or issues.
• Communicate technical problems and solutions clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.

What you’ll be doing day-to-day

• Maintenance and support of Linux systems: administration, maintenance, diagnostics, and troubleshooting in Linux environments.
• Installation, configuration, and updating of software on physical and virtual servers based on VMware or Proxmox and Linux, using Kubernetes, Docker, CI / CD, and Ansible environments.
• Task automation using scripting.
• Configuration of network equipment (routers, switches, firewalls). Diagnostics and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Higher Technician qualification or degree in Telecommunications and IT Systems Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years\' experience in similar system and network administration roles.
• Knowledge of SIP protocol.
• Design and administration of architectures based on Linux OS (CentOS, Debian) and FreeBSD.
