Overview

As Virtuagym keeps on growing, we are looking for a NetSuite Engineer / Finance Systems Engineer to join our team. This is a remote position, working as part of our Global Finance Automation (FinAuto) team. We are open to full-time, part-time or freelance engagements. The role is remote-friendly with a flexible location (European or American timezone).

This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing our ERP system (NetSuite) and its integrations with other business-critical tools. You will help build scalable, automated, and robust operational systems to support a fast-growing tech company.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage highly scalable (financial) workflows using NetSuite.
• Perform day-to-day NetSuite engineering activities and lead longer-term projects to drive automation and efficiency for Business Operations.
• Create, manage and control NetSuite reporting in close collaboration with Finance and BI teams.
• Collaborate with analysts and engineers to design and implement automation flows.
• Lead NetSuite projects end-to-end, from gathering requirements to testing in a sandbox, pushing to production, and collecting stakeholder feedback.
• Shape the future of Finance Automation and Finance Operations by contributing to the design and implementation of the technology ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Information Systems (or a similar technical background) or in Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• 80% technical skills, 20% finance skills.
• 2+ years of experience with Finance Systems Engineering / NetSuite / ERP.
• Strong data analytical skills and understanding of relational databases.
• Coding/scripting experience.
• Finance knowledge (e.g., understanding of BS/P&L/Cash Flow/Asset and FX/reconciliation principles).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong interest in automation, operations and the future of Finance.
• Self-starter and fast learner.
