This role is crucial for our platform's launch and global success.

About the Role : The Head of Organic Search and Digital Marketing will lead our global SEO strategy to increase subscriber acquisition and organic traffic. The role requires a deep understanding of organic search, customer needs, and our product to develop targeted campaigns. Initially focused on organic search, it will expand to oversee paid digital channels as we scale globally. Collaboration with editorial, social, and content teams to create SEO-optimized, transcreated content across markets is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Global Organic Search Strategy :
  • Develop and execute a global SEO strategy to drive traffic, improve rankings, and increase subscribers.
  • Tailor SEO strategies to regional markets based on search behaviors and trends.
  • Analyze competitors and implement initiatives to enhance search performance.
  • Transcreated Content Development :
    • Work with editorial and content teams to create resonant, SEO-optimized content for local audiences.
    • Align content strategies with SEO goals to boost engagement and search performance.
  • SEO Optimization and Technical SEO :
    • Lead on-page, off-page, and technical SEO initiatives.
    • Collaborate with development and UX teams to optimize site structure, speed, and mobile-friendliness.
    • Conduct SEO audits and implement improvements.
  • Content Optimization and Growth :
    • Optimize existing content and develop strategies to refresh older content.
    • Enhance landing pages for engagement and conversion.
  • Collaborative Efforts with Social Media and Editorial Teams :
    • Create integrated campaigns to maximize visibility and engagement.
    • Ensure content promotion aligns across platforms.
  • Performance Analytics and Reporting :
    • Monitor and analyze SEO performance metrics.
    • Provide reports and insights for continuous improvement.
    • Use tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
  • Subscriber Acquisition via Organic Channels :
    • Align SEO efforts with subscriber acquisition strategies.
    • Coordinate with product and sales teams for alignment.
    • Ensure content has clear CTAs for conversions.
  • Future Expansion into Paid Channels :
    • Manage paid digital channels as the role evolves.
    • Develop paid search strategies based on organic insights.
    • Lead paid channel expansion, aligning with business goals.
  • Global Market Adaptation :
    • Work with regional teams to adapt strategies for local markets.
    • Optimize campaigns for languages, cultures, and search trends.
    • Implement strategies to improve visibility and traffic in each market.

    Qualifications :

    • Education: Bachelor's in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or related; MBA is a plus.
    • Experience: 8-10+ years in SEO and digital marketing with a global focus.
    • SEO Expertise: Extensive experience in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
    • Content Strategy: Proven ability to create and optimize transcreated content.
    • Data-Driven & Analytical: Strong skills in tracking and optimizing digital performance.
    • Global Experience: Experience working with international teams and markets.
    • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
    • Project Management: Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects.
    • Paid Media Expertise: Experience with PPC, paid social, and display campaigns.
    • Technical SEO: Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog.
