AVL is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its engineering team, focusing on naval and defence technologies. You will participate in development, integration and validation of electrical, automation and control systems for advanced marine platforms.

You will work on international projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, customers and partners to deliver innovative and reliable solutions for complex naval applications.

Formación

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering or Control Engineering.
• Experience in electrical engineering and/or control systems environments.
• Interest or experience in naval, marine or defence applications.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, automation architectures and control systems.
• Experience in system integration, testing and commissioning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Good command of English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Develop and integrate electrical and control system architectures for naval and defence applications.
• Design and analyse power distribution, energy management and control systems.
• Develop, implement and validate control strategies for propulsion, power generation and auxiliary systems.
• Support system integration, commissioning, testing and troubleshooting activities across the project lifecycle.
• Analyse system and test results, identify root causes and define corrective actions.
• Work with PLC, automation, monitoring and communication systems in demanding environments.
• Prepare technical specifications, engineering documentation, control logic descriptions and test procedures.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and technologies.
