Confidential employer in Palma on Mallorca is seeking an energetic Nautical Retail Sales Assistant to join the team. You will help customers choose nautical products and equipment and provide an excellent in-store experience.

You'll handle sales, cash desk duties, inventory support, and basic admin using Word and Excel. The role is on-site in Palma with a permanent contract and a gross monthly salary of 1,850 EUR under the Comercio collective agreement.

• Previous experience in customer sales and direct retail service.
• Upper-intermediate level of English to communicate with international clients.

Are you passionate about customer service and the maritime world? A private retail business in Palma is currently looking for an energetic Nautical Retail Sales Assistant to join its team on Mallorca.

In this role, you will assist customers in selecting the right nautical products and equipment for boats, providing reliable advice and an excellent in-store shopping experience right in the heart of Palma.

In your day-to-day work, you will handle sales and support shop operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising customers on nautical products, boat accessories, and marine supplies
• Handling daily customer sales, cash desk duties, and product presentation in the store
• Managing inventory support and basic documentation using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Assisting with general store maintenance, stocking shelves, and ensuring an inviting shopping atmosphere

To qualify for this position, you should bring a proactive mindset and solid retail skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer sales and direct retail service
• Upper-intermediate level of English (medium-high proficiency) to communicate comfortably with international clients
• Reliable skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
• Valued bonus: Prior background in DIY (bricolaje), hardware stores (ferretería), marine equipment, or similar technical retail sectors

What this position offers:

Position Details

• A permanent contract (contrato indefinido) offering long-term stability
• A gross monthly salary of 1,850 EUR according to the commercial collective bargaining agreement (Convenio de Comercio)
• Working hours from Monday to Friday from 8:00 to 17:00, with alternating Saturdays from 9:00 to 13:00
• A fully on-site position based in Palma, Mallorca
