Our client, a European-based bakery company, is looking for a new National Sales Director. The company holds international certifications such as IFS, BRC, and HACCP, ensuring high standards in food safety and quality. As part of its growth strategy, our client is expanding its presence in Spain.

Job Description :
  1. Planning and implementing sales strategies in the Spanish retail market.
  2. Realising volume sales assumptions by supervising the sales department, tracking changing trends, economic indicators, competitors, and demand.
  3. Working directly with retail chains — setting commercial terms and conditions, conducting negotiations.
  4. Acquiring new clients and maintaining good relationships with current business partners.
  5. Collaborating with the Production and Quality Departments.
  6. Reporting to the Sales Director.
Requirements
  1. Proven successful minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  2. Excellent skills in managing subordinate departments/employees and working with internal customers.
  3. Experience working with retail chains.
  4. Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  5. Very good knowledge of the market & private label market.
  6. Strong skills in independent and complex project management.
  7. Excellent analytical skills.
  8. Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel).
  9. Very good verbal and written skills in Spanish and English.
  10. Valid driving licence.
