A top international university in Madrid is seeking a Narrative & Content Strategy Lead to join its dynamic brand team within the marketing department. This is a creative leadership role focused on shaping the voice and storytelling of one of the world's most globally minded academic institutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the university’s overarching narrative and brand voice across all channels
  • Strategize, create, and oversee high-impact branded content in a variety of formats (digital, print, video, etc.)
  • Manage and mentor a team of writers, reviewing and refining content for clarity, consistency, and quality
  • Ensure narrative consistency across all university communications, both internally and externally
  • Use content performance data and key metrics to guide editorial direction and optimize strategy
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design, digital, and media teams to ensure content aligns with brand goals

Requirements :

  • English native-level proficiency (essential); fluency in Spanish is a plus
  • 5+ years of experience in content strategy, or editorial roles
  • 2–3 years of team leadership or management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Branding, Creative Writing, Communications, or related fields
  • Strong storytelling skills, strategic thinking, and an eye for detail
  • Solid interpersonal communication and organization skills
  • Must be based in Madrid and have legal authorization to work in Spain
