TBSCG’s engineering & Cloud practice is scaling fast, and we’re looking for an architect who’s ready to own solution-level decisions, not just implement them. You’ll lead Commercetools and Fluent Commerce builds for global brands, working with peers who specialize in composable architectures.

Note : The role operates on US time zones.

What you’ll own :

• Architect & deliver cloud-native services and integrations across Commercetools, Fluent Commerce, and Cybersource using TypeScript / Node and event-driven patterns.
• Design APIs & events that support omnichannel customer journeys.
• Lead technical discovery sessions with client architects and TBSCG product teams.
• Promote engineering excellence through code quality, observability, automated testing, and documentation.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and contribute to internal best-practice playbooks.

Your toolkit :

Proven experience with Commercetools solutions in production.

Hands-on experience with Fluent Commerce (or similar OMS) and payment gateways.

Strong TypeScript / Node skills; familiar with serverless runtimes (AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions) and event buses (SNS / SQS, Pub / Sub, EventBridge).

Deep understanding of microservices, API-first, and headless paradigms.

Experience with CI / CD (GitHub Actions or Bitbucket Pipelines) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / GitOps).

GraphQL, Next.js / React front-ends.

Headless CMS integrations (Contentstack, Contentful).

Kubernetes or container orchestration for custom workloads.
